Gilberto Elizondo,64, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Elizondo is preceded in death by his father: Felipe Elizondo and brother: Luis Elizondo. He is survived by his wife: Maria Alicia Elizondo, children: Rebecca (Roberto) Madrigal, Gilberto (Cynthia) Elizondo, Jr., Jose Luis (Yesenia) Elizondo and Romelia (Juan E. Hernandez) Elizondo, mother: Maria Guadalupe Elizondo, brother: Felipe Elizondo, sisters: Yolanda Chapa, Sylvia Diaz and Rosalinda Vasquez, 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 with visitation starting at 8:00 am to 10:30 am. Chapel service will be officiated at 10:30 am. Interment will immediately follow to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gilberto Elizondo, Jose Luis Elizondo, Luis Elizondo, Roberto Chapa, Robert Madrigal and Johnny Rodriguez.
