Gloria N. De Leon passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at the age of 74 years at a local hospital. She was born in Laredo, Tx on March 31, 1945. Ms. De Leon is preceded in death by her husband; Espiridion De Leon III, son; Guadalupe Ramon De Leon, parents; Leonides Navarro, Sr., and Lilia R. Navarro, and brothers; Leonides Navarro, Jr., and Leonardo Navarro.

She is survived by her 5 children; Gina De Leon, Melissa (Miguel) Flores, Jr., Michelle (Edwin) Vellon, Juan Jose (Juanita) De Leon, and Roberto Samuel (Ofelia) De Leon; a special grandson she took with her in her heart Jesse Nicholas De Leon; she also has 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren whom she loved, and 5 sisters; Graciela Bundoc, Martha Navarro, Mirtha Jimenez, Eudelia Cervantes, and Dalia Bondoc; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from the funeral home to Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jesse De Leon, Roberto De Leon, Juan Jose De Leon, Luis Martinez, Miguel Flores, Jr., Jose Martinez, Jr., Alberto De Leon, and Jose Arellano.
