Obituary For Gregoria P. Chaires

Gregoria P. Chaires, 99, entered into eternal rest on, Saturday, January 17, 2026.

She is preceded in death by Enrique Chaires.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Rosa Garcia; three grandchildren, Daniel (Roxana) Garcia, Dorothy (Rogelio) Montemayor, and Mary Jessica Garcia; three great-grandchildren, Liliana Mercedes Garcia, Kayla Camila Garcia, and Isaiah Roy Montemayor; siblings, Issac Duque, Alicia Brooks, Amparo Thompson, Celia Dionne, and Velia Rangel; nephews, nieces; as well as other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

Special thanks to the staff at LMC for their care and dedication.

The family will be receiving guests on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will continue on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 9:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

    For our beloved Aunt Goya we, Diana Benedict, John Rangel Jr., Art Rangel, Rick Rangel and I planted trees to honor the life of a wonderful aunt who loved everyone and gave of herself unconditionally. We were blessed to have spent vacations with you. We will miss you. Love your nieces and nephews.

    Rest Peacefully dear Tia Goya, your love will always surround us. FaceTime those last 2 weeks seeing the Joy and happiness it brought to tia.     I don't have the words to express how much my Aunt Gollie meant to me. She took care of me when I was little and I lived with her during my teens. She helped me and my family so much during hard times. She was such a giving person with many friends that would visit her often. There are so many memories that hold in my heart for my loving and lovely aunt.
