Obituary For Guadalupe G. Morales

Guadalupe "Lupita" Morales entered into eternal rest Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 85.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Donato Morales Sr. and her two sons: Donato Morales, Jr. and Donato Morales III, sisters: Guadalupe Gonzalez from Laredo, Gloria Justus from Corpus Christi, TX, Enriqueta Orozco and Ofelia Emberger both from Dallas, TX, brother: Alberto Gonzalez and his wife Paulita also from Dallas, sisters/brothers-in-law; Francisco (Josefina) Morales from Flagstaff, AZ, Benito Morales, Rosendo Morales, Consuelo (Rafael) Arizola, Petra (Jose) Gomez, all from Laredo.

Our mother was born and raised in Laredo. She was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and attended Laredo Business College. Her career began at the former Laredo Air Force Base where she proudly worked for the government over 20 years. After Laredo Air Force Base closed in 1973, she worked and later retired as office manager and comptroller of a local manufacturing corporation. Lupita always stressed by example and instilled in her children the importance of integrity, perseverance, and fortitude. Her children were very dear and important and always looked forward in celebrating family traditions together.

Lupita is survived by her children: Susana, Alberto and Lucia. She is also lovingly survived by her brother-in-law, Albert Orozco from Dallas. Both retired, they would regularly keep in contact reminiscing and sharing recipes. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Julia M. (Andres +) Inocencio and our special friend, Cynthia Garcia. Left behind to cherish "Nanny's" memories are her six grandchildren, Randell Carrell, Jr., Hugo Morales, Vanessa Guadalupe (Leo) Saenz, Christina Michelle Morales, Donato Omar Morales, IV and Kazzandra Eudelia Morales, also survived are her five great-grandchildren, many wonderful nieces and nephews. Family and friends are cordially invited to share her memories at the visitation which will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be officiated by Deacon Gerardo Morales at 7:00pm. Cremation services will be held at a later date.

    Sentimos mucho la perdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo en Dios nos promete que eliminará para siempre las enfermedades, en Isaías 33:24 dice que llegara el día en que nadie dirá "estoy enfermo". Además en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será más". Y por último en Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurrección". Nuestro creador el todopoderoso tiene el poder y el deseo de devolverles la vida de nuestros seres queridos que han muerto.
