Guadalupe Saenz, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Mrs. Saenz, a loving mother and grandmother was born and lived all her life in Laredo. She worked for L.I.S.D. for 22 years. She was well loved by Special Ed Program. Mrs. Saenz was preceded in death by her brothers: Tio Lencho Rodriguez and Tio Balo Rodriguez, sister: Maria Gutierrez, sons: Jerry Saenz and Humberto Saenz, niece: Consuelo Rodriguez, grandson: Ramiro Rodriguez. She is survived by her children: Rosa M. Rodriguez and Rodolfo Saenz both of Laredo, grandchildren: Rene (Violeta) Rodriguez of Laredo, Rosemarie (Manuel) Sauceda of Cotulla, Rodolfo (Erika) Saenz, Jr. of Laredo, Melissa (Joe) Saenz of Laredo and Dagoberto (Daniela) Saenz of Laredo, great-grandchildren: Rene, Jr., Viviana, Ramsey, Kristina, Kasandra, Karina, Geraldine, Jonathon, Hido, Natalie, Joshua and Memito. Mrs. Saenz will be greatly missed. The family would like to give special thanks to Mary Baca, Carmen Sanchez and Angelita for the great care given to Mrs. Saenz as providers. Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2007 from 4pm – 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
