Obituary For Harper Donald Turberville

Harper D. Turberville, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Mr. Turberville was a veteran of the Army of the United States. He was honored with the American Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Turberville worked at La Perla Ranch for 12 years before working at Spohn Ranch He is survived by his wife Rosa Elva Turberville, children; Patsy (Rey) Sirmons, Maria Guadalupe Cruz, Frank Wesly Motes, Gary Lee (Sylvia) Motes, Alejandro Magno (Rosa) Cruz, Antonio (Julia) Turberville and Leonel Turberville, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sister; Wilbur Turberville, Warm (Risy) Turberville and Irene Vancelmayor. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Friends can express condolences to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.

    Sorry, I heard about the funeral after the fact and was not able to attend. Please know my thought's and prayers are with you. Frank, Gary, and Patsy you may be surprised to know there are still people in Zapata who remember and think of you often.
