Heriberto De Luna, 99, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at the Laredo Medical Center. Mr. De Luna was preceded in death by his wife: Matiniana Cruz De Luna, parents: Prisciliano and Maria De Luna, infant daughter: Marti De Luna, and brother: Manuel De Luna. He is survived by his children: Juanita De Luna, Maria Luisa De Luna, and Alejandro (Ana Laura) De Luna of Helotes, TX, grandson: Adolfo (Alyssa) De Luna of Helotes, TX, great-granddaughter: Haylie Jayne De Luna, niece: Adela Gonzalez, other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A vigil for Mr. De Luna will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Holy Redeemer Church, 1602 Garcia St, Laredo, TX 78040, from 5pm-9pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 1, 2010, at Holy Redeemer Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude toward Dr. Joaquin Cigarroa for the many years of loving care and attention for Mr. De Luna. They would also like to thank the nursing staff at LMC, in particular Makawat Jangjai for the special care and treatment with which he attended Mr. De Luna.
