Hortencia "Tencha" Duran, 72, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, December 16, 2018. Mrs. Duran is preceded in death by her parents; Cirilo Contreras and Elena R. Contreras; husband, Victoriano Duran and brothers, Guadalupe Contreras and Angel Galarza.

She is survived by her; children, Maria (Roberto) Ibarra, Victor Manuel (Ana Laura) Duran, Irma Leticia (Florencio) Chavez and Guillermo (Petra) Duran; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Roberto (Ofelia) Contreras, Angel (Florencia) Contreras, Anita (Samuel) Chavez, Benita (Juan Antonio) Perez, Herlinda (Jesus) Valdez, Margarito (Gloria) Contreras; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 20, 2018, from the funeral home to St. Augustine Cathedral. Funeral mass will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Guillermo Duran, Florencio Chavez, Roberto Ibarra, Robert Ibarra, Victor Manuel Duran, Jr. and Florencio Chavez, Jr.
