Humberto S. Garcia, 70, passed away September 13, 2009. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents; Jesus (Santos Sotelo) Hernandez and brother; Francisco Hernandez. He is survived by his wife of 47 years of marriage, Lydia Garcia. Also surviving Mr. Garcia are his children; Maria (Salvador) Rodriguez, Sandra G. Villamil, Yolanda (Eloy) Galvan and Roberto (Gabriella) Garcia, brothers and sisters; Jesus (Lourdes) Hernandez, Josie Luna, Janie Miranda, Teresa (Mark) Steele, Ricardo (Anna) Hernandez, Perfecto (Rachel) Hernandez, Martha Hernandez, Rebecca Navaro, Ruben (Tina) Montiel, Roque (Aida) Mendoza and Roberto Guardiola, grandchildren; Anna (David) Ponce, Vanessa Rodriguez, Jorge A. Villamil, Alexandra Villamil, Ronald Andrade, Rolando Garcia and Orlando Medina Garcia, great-grandchildren; Nathanial D. Ponce, Kailynn Ponce and Deja Marie Rodriguez. Special thanks to Laredo Medical Center and Dr. Francisco Pena. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Saint Patrick's Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 9 am.
