Humberto Talamantes, 77, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Talamantes was preceded in death by his parents: Tomas (Blasa) Talamantes, Sr., wife: Delia Garza Talamantes, brother: Tomas Talamantes, Jr., brother-in-law: Jesus Garza, Sr. and sister-in-law: Elida Riojas. He is survived by his children: Rosa Imelda Talamantes, Humberto David (Sandra M.) Talamantes and Andres (Rosie) Talamantes all of Laredo, grandchildren: Jessie (Susie) Castaneda, Jr. of Laredo, Anthony (Angie) Castaneda of Laredo, Micheal P. Castaneda of Laredo, Andres Talamantes, Jr. of Laredo, Delia M. Talamantes of Laredo, Kevin J. Talamantes of Laredo, Debra J. (Tomas) Conners of San Antonio and Dawna J. Talamantes of San Antonio, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers and sister: Armando (Dora) Talamantes, Abelardo (Nora) Talamantes, Hector (Teresa) Talamantes and Julie Cavazos all of Laredo, sisters-in-law: Lydia (Ricardo) Benavides, Elizabeth (Javier) Valenciano and Mirta (Felipe) Romanos, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Holy Mass will celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
