It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isaura Elia Scribner, who joined our heavenly Father on December 23, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on November 11, 1937, Isaura was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Mrs. Scribner was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Walter Scribner, Sr., her daughter, Isaura E. Scribner; sons, Thomas W. Scribner, Jr. and Jay D. Scribner and grandson Michael A. Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Scribner, Georgia (Darin) McCarty, Patricia Lee Scribner, Allen G. Scribner, Jack J. (Eva) Scribner, William R. (Hilda) Scribner, Lilia D. (Tito Daniel) Rocha, Lena Garibaldi Scribner, Sandra (Jaime) Rodriguez, Rodolfo (Marisol) Scribner and Edward W. (Rosalinda) Scribner; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and love will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. In this time of loss, let us remember and cherish the moments shared with her. May she rest in peace.

Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Isaura’s life during a visitation that will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Nieto Funerals & Cremations, with a Chapel service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

This gathering will be an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects and celebrate the beautiful impact Isaura had on those around her.
