Obituary For Isidora S. Talamantes

Isidora S. Talamantes, born April 18, 1926 in Cotulla, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Armando C. Talamantes, brother Reynaldo Sobrevilla, sister Lupe Sobrevilla and son Mark Talamantes.

Those left to honor her memory include her three children: Roxella Cavazos, Leticia Talamantes and husband Robert Harris, Armando R. (Ronny) Talamantes and wife Lupita. In addition, she is survived by her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and family friend Edgar Mendez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Nieto Funeral Home, 802 Coke Street, Laredo, Texas. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church, 3018 Davis Avenue, Laredo, Texas. Burial will immediately follow at Encinal Cemetery, Encinal, Texas. In an effort to honor Isidora’s memory, mourners are invited to join the family in wearing her favorite color, purple.

    Tia Chore as we called always called my dad her brother "Brother ". We her nephew and nieces spent time in their home in Laredo in the summertime and we memorable memories of those times. Rest In Peace Tia Chore.

    Sentimos mucho la perdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo la Dios nos promete que eliminará para siempre las enfermedades, en Isaías 33:24 dice que llegara el día en que nadie dirá "estoy enfermo". Además eliminará la muerte, en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios eliminará toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será más". Y eso no es todo también en Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurrección". Esto quiere decir que Jehova Dios nuestro creador desea devolverles la vida a nuestros seres queridos que han muerto.
