So many wonderful memories with my beautiful grandma. She was so loving and caring. I remember getting sick and she would rush and get shots to put me to feel better. We would go out every afternoon going thru trash cans because she would save cans and then go sell them. I would take her to Mexico so she could sale clothes & shoes. She was a very hard working woman. She was up in age and she would go work in the fields with her sister, mi tia Susana. She would make raspas the old fashion way to sell. I got to spend time with her in San Juan at mass & after many years of not seeing her, I went to visit her. I would just keep staring at her. Trying to capture how she looked, thinking that it could be my last chance at seeing her. Then I saw her one Last time in Edinburg. My Diego went up to her and she recognized him and he was so happy. She saw Jaimito and thought she was seeing me. She said well that was how I was when I was left to live with her. Hugs and kisses. Pictures taken and goodbyes were said, unfortunately unknowing that it would be our last time we would give hugs and kisses to her until we meet again in Heaven. I will miss her dearly. I am so happy my kids got to know their great-grandma SANTANA. Broke my heart to tell them she had gone to live with GOD.

My grandma is gone. She is in the greatest place that is worthy of taking her away from me and my family. I am so ever grateful for my Aunt Dora for bringing her to Edinburg so i had one last kiss to my beautiful grandma, not knowing it would be the last time I would ever hold her and kiss her. I will be there soon. I leave Friday morning. TE QUIERO MUCHO ABUELA . HASTA QUE NOS VEMOS EN EL CIELO JUNTOS CON TODOS LOS DE MAS. ESTAS EN MI PECHO PARA SIEMPRE. NUNCA DEJARE QUE TE QUITAN DE AY. NIGUN OPERACION AUN QUE NECESITO OPERACION DE CORAZON< NO ACEPTO A SI ME VOY MAS RAPIDO CON USTED.
