Jesus Octavio Garza, 76, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007. Mr. Garza loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years of marriage, Lydia Garza, daughters: Olivia (Juventino) Palacios, Norma (Elias) Vega, Ninfa (Raymond) Johnson, Maria Esther (Luis) Contreras and Araceli (Manuel) Garcia all of Laredo, grandchildren: Rey, Jasmine Johnson, Cassandra, Elvira, Louie Contreras, Elias Vega, Jr., Juan Octavio Palacios, Manuel “Manny” III and Arabella Garcia, brother and sisters: Luis Garza, Ninfa (Jesus) Rodriguez, Zulema Almeida and Elia Garza, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Garza will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
