Our dearly beloved aunt, Jesusa Martinez passed on to the arms of our beloved father, Jesus Christ, on May 21, 2007 age 89. She was born on November 15, 1917 in Laredo, Texas to +Camilo and +Eulalia Martinez. She had been a life long resident of Chicago, ILL until a few years she came back to Laredo to live with sister, Connie and niece, Rose who took careful care of her until her last day. She was preceded in death by her sister: Julia Martinez, brothers: Ramon E. Martinez, Camilo Martinez and Antonio Martinez, nieces: Maria Eulalia M. de la Rosa and Patricia Ramirez. She leaves behind her sisters, Mary Ramirez of Chicago, ILL and Connie Acevedo of Laredo. Her only son, Carlos Javier (Rose) Martinez, grandchildren: Beverly, Carlos, Jr., Peter, Marcelino and their respected families. Her cousin, Jesus Espinoza all of Chicago, ILL also her nephew and nieces Antonio A. Ramirez, +Patricia , their respected families, Rosie Nieves and sons, Anita , Patrick, Tracy and family, all of Orland Park, ILL Rose Garcia and family , Mary Ann Martinez and family from Laredo, Camilo (Rosita) Martinez and family of Mercedes, TX. Special thanks to Dr. Idelfonso Flores, Dr. Karen Yamaguchi, N.S.C.L. Providers and Nurses, Healthcare Unlimited Nurses and Ambulance Service of Laredo. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be Friday, May 25, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am.
