Jose Felix “Pano” Venegas, 68, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 8, 2007. Mr. Venegas was a truck driver for forty years and was part of the champion soft ball team, Toros. He loved to spend time with his family. Mr. Venegas was preceded in death by his parents: Teodulo (Maria Antonia) Venegas. He is survived by his wife of 17 years of marriage, Magdalena G. Venegas of Laredo, children: Ana Luisa Venegas (Martin), Carmen (Hector) Flores, Jose Felix (Ana Maria) Venegas, Marco Antonio Venegas, Francisco (Cristina) Santos, Laura (Cesar) Villarreal, Maria Elena (Jose) Martinez, Daniel (Rosie) Santos, Consuelo (Rey) Alvarez and Esteban (Marisa) Santos all of Laredo, 19 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister: Santa (Juan) Escobedo and brother: Teodulo (Ana) Venegas, Jr. of Laredo, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Venegas will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Santo Nino Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
