Jose “Chepo” Ferdin, 58, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Mr. Ferdin is preceded in death by his parents; Simon (Juanita) Ferdin, sisters; Delia F. Lerma and Estela Adams. He is survived by his wife of 39 years of marriage; Veronica P. Ferdin, daughter; Alma Rosa (Frederick) Turner Sr., grandchildren; Jose C. Perez, Daisy Nicole Reyes, Luis Simon Reyes, Frederick Turner Jr., Keiera Almia Turner, sisters; Elvira (Aaron) Dominguez, Amalia (Emilio) Garza and Rosa M. (Juan) Rodriguez, brother; Jesus (Yolanda) Ferdin; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Mr. Ferdin will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Nieto Funeral Home. A chapel service will be officiated at 10 am by Pastor Walter Reyes. Interment will follow immediately in the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Albert Dominguez, Alfredo Dominguez, Juan F. Rodriguez, Jr., Ernesto Adams, Jr., Jose L.
