Jose Lucio Flores, 71, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006. Mr. Flores was born and raised in Laredo and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired security guard. Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Maria De Los Angeles Flores, children; Genaro, Angel and Police Lt. Jose A. Flores all from Laredo, daughters; Guadalupe, Virginia and Alejandra, granddaughters; Esmeralda, Valerie, Angie, Christy and Reyna, grandsons; Frankie, Jesus and Fernando, great-granddaughters; Lexis and Denise. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Holy Mass was celebrated at 10:30 am at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment followed to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers were; Jose Flores, Fidel Contreras, Jr., Jesus Francisco Ramirez, Johnny Elizondo, Danny Elizondo and Manuel Gonzalez. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home.
