Jose Valverde, 95, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006. Mr. Valverde is survived by his wife; Dolores C. Valverde, son; Ramon (Maria A.) Valverde, daughters; Mrs. Jesus (Guadalupe) Soriano, Mrs. Baldomero (Ofelia) Valadez, Mrs. Cipriano (Ana Delia) Gonzalez and Mrs. Roberto (Dora Alicia) Ortiz all from Laredo, 21 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Santo Niño Mission Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
