Juan Carlos Ortiz, 64, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 19, 2017. Mr. Ortiz is preceded in death by his parents; Carlos C. Ortiz and Socorro De La Torre Ortiz.

He is survived by his wife; Elvia J. Ortiz, children; Michael L. Mahan, Matthew L. Mahan, Francisco I. (Ana) Ortiz, Josue R. Ortiz, Leticia N. (Juan) Lerma and Juan Carlos Ortiz; 7 grandchildren, siblings; Socorro Corona Ortiz, Eva Leticia Ortiz; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A biblical talk will be held at 7:00 pm by elder Jaime Rodriguez. Honoring his wishes, Mr. Ortiz will be cremated.
