Juan De Dios Velasquez, Sr. passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009. Mr. Velasquez was preceded in death by his brothers and sister; Felix Velasquez, Raul Diego Velasquez and Maria Alicia Velasquez. He is survived by his son; Juan De Dios Velasquez, Jr., brothers and sisters; Maria Angela Velasquez, Jesus Francisco (Maria G.) Velasquez, Vidal (Genoveva) Velasquez, Jose Luis (Irene) Velasquez and Maria Guadalupe Velasquez, sisters-in-law; Emma Velasquez and Graciela Velasquez, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Velasquez will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday,July 29, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to San Luis Rey Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
