Juan Fidel Perez, 81, entered into the gates of heaven, Saturday January 25, 2014. Mr. Perez was born April 24, 1932 in Laredo, Texas. After graduating high school he attended La Salle Extension University where he earned a Bachelor of Law Degree. He was employed with the Texas Employment Commission for over 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was very much involved in different organizations within the community. Juan was known for his sharp wit and sense of humor. He was always one to lend a helping hand and had a huge heart. Mr. Perez is preceded in death by his loving wife: (His Chachita) Angelina Perez. He is survived by his son: Juan Ricardo Perez and his daughter: Patricia P. (Robert) Ortiz. He has two grandchildren, Roxy Maza and Bobbie Ortiz and two great grandchildren Ilan D. and Zaila R. Maza. He is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Honoring Mr. Perez’s wishes, there will be no visitation held. Private burial services will be held at a later date. He will truly be missed by all those who loved him.
