Obituary For Juan Valdez Chavez
Juan "Chato" Valdez Chavez, 62, entered into eternal rest, Monday, June 15th, 2020. Mr. Chavez was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas on June 23, 1957. He lived in Monterrey, NL, and at the age of 21, moved to Laredo, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving Father, Grandfather, and Mentor to many. He always assisted different churches and loved traveling to different countries to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was always very dedicated to his car business and was a Car Salesman/Owner with over 30 years of experience. He attended Instituto Technologico de Monterrey, followed by attending Laredo Community College and graduated from Laredo International Bible College with 2 years in Ministry. Mr. Chavez is preceded in death by his parents; Juan Chavez Cuellar & Maria Leonarda Valdez Perez; siblings, Alfonso Chavez Rodriguez, Gregorio Chavez Rodriguez, Armando Chavez Rodriguez and Rosa Maria Chavez Rodriguez; and grandson, Andres Angel Chavez. He is survived by his wife, Ana Magaly Chavez; sons, Juan Jose (Julia) Chavez, Cesar Isaac (Elida) Chavez, Miguel Angel (Carina) Chavez, Agustin Alberto (Laura) Chavez Sr., Joe Daniel Chavez and Mark (Valerie) Chavez; mother of his sons, Sandra Inez Chavez; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Irma Chavez Rodriguez, Oralia Chavez Rodriguez, Juan Hermilio Chavez Rodriguez, Yolanda Chavez Rodriguez, Maria Victoria Chavez Rodriguez, Elva Marta Chavez Rodriguez, Armandina Chavez Valdez, Agustin Heriberto Chavez Valdez, Blanca Idalia Chavez Valdez, Francisco Javier Chavez Valdez, Maria Del Roble Chavez Valdez and Jose Daniel Chavez Valdez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a prayer service will begin at 7 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A chapel service will be officiated at 10:00 am by pastor Jose Maria Arambula. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Juan Jose Chavez, Cesar Isaac Chavez, Miguel Angel Chavez, Agustin Alberto Chavez Sr., Joe Daniel Chavez, and Mark Chavez. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com
