Juana Socorro Gomez was born on October 30, 1950. Ms. Gomez entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 70 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her mother; Faustina Treviño, husband; Arturo Gomez, Sr., daughter; Nora Alicia Gomez, sisters; Fransica Treviño, Benita Treviño and Dominga T. Gonzalez, uncle and aunt; Eliseo (Anita) Peña.

She is survived by her son; Arturo Gomez, Jr, daughter; Raquel (+Jesus Uvaldo) Gomez, grandchildren; Jessica (Rolando) Jacobo, Jesus (Mariana) Uvaldo, Jr., and Maria Uvaldo and great granddaughters; Julieta, Nahyeli, Arlette Jacobo, and siblings; Alfredo (Etelvina) Treviño, Roberto (Amelia) Treviño, Juan (+Araceli) Treviño, Oscar Treviño, and Veronica (Ricardo) Dominguez; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral procession will follow to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a mass will begin at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
