Obituary For Juanita Peña
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juanita Peña, age 46, who left this world on August 4, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend, Juanita touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
She will be welcomed in her heavenly home by her parents, Felix Martinez and Juanita A. Martinez; brother, Felix Gerardo Martinez, and Father-in-law, Mario A. Peña, who precede her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are, her husband, Mario Alberto Peña Jr.; children, Mario Alberto Peña III (Kenia Perez), Guadalupe Yvette Peña (Justin Martinez), Selena Pena (George Garcia), Kassandra Peña, Felix Alberto Peña; granddaughter, Kaylee Crispin; Mother-in-law, Maria Chapa, siblings, Cecilia Martinez Barcena (Nefthali Garza), Jesus F. Martinez (Carmen Ramos), Herlinda Gomez (Tomas Gomez), Luis Martinez (Esmeralda Martinez), Leonor Martinez (Clarissa Martinez); sisters in law, Monica Galvan (Angel Palomino), Cecilia Peña (Jose Lopez) and Ana Peña (Wilmer Hernandez) numerous other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Juanita’s legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Her family and friends will gather to honor her memory during visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Nieto Funeral and Cremations. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 PM, providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together in prayer and reflection.
A Mass in her honor will take place on August 13, 2025 at Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
