Juanita V. Reyes, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Mrs. Reyes was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Ambrosio (Severina) Vela, brothers; Alfredo and Francisco Vela. She is survived by her husband of 50 years of marriage, Jose Leonardo Reyes, children; Jose Leonardo (Socorro) Reyes, Jr., Martha Alicia (Ernesto) Salazar, Margarita (Martin) Brizuela, David (Veronica) Reyes and Sergio Javier (Victoria) Reyes, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters and brothers; Dora (Daniel) Aguilar of Corpus Christi, Rosa Maria Vela, Maria (Jose) Puente, Rodolfo (Irma) Vela and Ambrosio Vela, Jr. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Drs. Maurice Click, Benson Huang, Fernando Sanchez and caring staff at Laredo Specialty Hospital for their care. Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am.
