Juanita T. Harrison, age 81, was called to her heavenly home on June 10, 2023.

Juanita or “Nena”, as she was affectionately known to family and friends was devoted to her family, close friends and her beloved husband of 56 years Ruben. She loved cooking for her family, friends and anything that involved using her creative talents to bring joy to everyone she loved. She truly missed her lifelong friends she made in Arlington, TX where she raised her family. In her later years, she was passionate about seeing her granddaughters succeed in their passion in life. Juanita loved her local church, Primera Iglesia Bautista Laredo TX. Her favorite scripture verse was, Filipenses 4:13 “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece”.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel Torralba and Ernestina Garza de Torralba; siblings, Elizabeth Castro, Miguel Torralba Jr., and Sergio Torralba

Juanita is survived by her husband, Ruben Harrison; children, Ruben (Vanessa) Harrison Jr., Mauricio (Veronica) Harrison, and Monica Harrison; grandchildren, Ana Laura Harrison, Marissa Harrison, Rebecca Harrison, Sararaquel Harrison, Miguel A. Iraheta, Ashley N. Ybarra, Roberto G. Campos Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as a host of cousins, other extended family members and friends.

The family extends their invitation for a Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Harrison at Primera Iglesia Bautista, located at 1320 San Bernardo, Laredo, TX 78040, on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

The family, kindly asks in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation in her name, “Juanita Harrison” to Saint Jude Cancer Research.
