Julian Mendoza, born January 10, 1922 in Laredo, Texas, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019.

Mr. Mendoza was a pastor of Iglesia Filadelfia Pentecostes, in El Cenizo, TX. He loved spreading the word of God, singing, and playing his guitar to the Lord. In his free-time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports.

Mr. Mendoza is preceded in death by his; parents, Santiago Mendoza and Josefina Mendoza; siblings, Aurelia Mendoza, Felix Mendoza, Benito Mendoza, Justina Mendoza, Inés Mendoza, Porfirio Mendoza, Natalia Mendoza, Elodia Mendoza, María Mendoza, Santiago Mendoza and José Mendoza; and son, Juan Mendoza.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years of marriage, Luisa Mendoza; children, Raul Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, Jesusa Mendoza, Marissa Mendoza and Julian Mendoza Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2019, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory beginning at 8:00 am. A chapel service will be officiated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery. Family encourages everyone to wear white attire in memory of Mr. Mendoza. Pallbearers will be: Julian Mendoza, Jr., Gabriel Mendoza, Luisa Rebecca Salazar, Victor Mendoza, JJ Mendoza and Elias Idrogo.
