Lorenza Duarte, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Mrs. Duarte was preceded in death by her husband; Isidro Duarte, Sr. She is survived by her only son; Isidro (Ana Laura) Duarte, Jr., grandchildren; Erika (Rafael) Hernandez, Yvonne (Amjad) Sheikh, Hector I. Duarte and Roberto A. Duarte, great-grandchildren; Peter Amaro and Havana Hernandez, sister; Consuelo (Luciano) Duarte. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2009 beginning at 9 am at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint, 1518 E. Hillside Rd. A chapel service will be held at 10 am with Minister Roberto Patino officiating. Interment will follow to the Veterans Section at the City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
