Dearest Tio Meme and Family, I am saddened at the death of Tia Lucia, but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have sees her at Easter and to receive some of her words of wisdom especially those on family sticking together no matter what, and life in general. Her generosity, encouragement, humor and laughter will be missed by all especially me. I have very fond memories of her laughter and sharing cooking recipes with me and my sister Juanita so that we could enjoy favorite foods even when we were not in Laredo. My prayers are with you in this time of sadness.
