Lucio Guadalupe Garcia, Jr., 87, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, August 4, 2019. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife of 56 years of marriage; Amparo Z. Garcia, daughter; Rosa Maria (Uriel) Quirino, grandchildren; Uriel Quirino II, Kriztella (Leonardo) Fuentes, Kassandra (Miguel) Montante, Kevin Quirino, great grandchild; Zedric Angello Fuentes, and sisters in law; Ofelia Garcia and Lucrecia Garcia; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members that will greatly miss him. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Benson Huang, Dr. Santos, Dr. Carlos Cigarroa, Dr. Dennis Cantu, and Dr. Bicheng Nan, and the staff from Laredo Medical Center and Doctor's Hospital intensive care unit.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass will begin at 9:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
