Lydia Garza October 30, 1923 - March 21, 2015 Our beloved tia Lydia Garza passed away on the evening of March 21, 2015 at the age of 91 and became a wonderful memory for all who knew and loved her. Her priority in life was helping all the younger kin in getting an education and will be fondly remembered. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Cruz Garza, her sisters Concepción and Adela, and her brothers Jesús and Juan Manuel. She is survived by the family of her brother, Juan Manuel and Manuela Garza, her niece Elsa Cantú, nephews Saul and Raul, and their families, the surviving family of her brother Jesús and Zenaida Garza, her nephew, Jesús María Garza and his family and the son of her sister Adela and Mariano S. Martinez, her nephew, César A. Martínez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A chapel service will commence at 9:30 am officiated by Deacon Gerardo Morales.
