Manuel Garcia, 88, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007. Mr. Garcia is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years of marriage, Guadalupe Garcia of Laredo, his much-loved children: Petra (Roberto) Jimenez of Laredo, Manuel Garcia, Jr. of Georgia and Veronica Pena of Laredo, grandchildren: Roberto A. Jimenez, Cinthia Jimenez, Ashley Jimenez, Eric Garcia, Samantha Garcia, Damian Pena, Roel Pena, Ruben, Gabriel and Akeem Gonzalez, Angie and Joe Pulido, Ernesto, Yvette, Vanessa, Leslie and Jacqueline Valencia., great-grandchild: Roberto Alejandro Jimenez, Jr., sister: Maria Hernandez, many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Garcia will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at The City Cemetery. A grave side service will be held at 10am. Interment will follow.
