Manuel Ramon Zuniga, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Our dad was a very loving and caring father. He was also a wonderful husband to his wife of 60 years. He served in the U.S. Arm Forces. We will miss his smile and his jolly attitude. Mr. Zuniga is survived by his wife of 60 years of marriage, Guadalupe Zuniga, children: Manuel (Yolanda) Zuniga, Jr. of Laredo, Rosa Maria Bunton of California, Gloria Martha (Emilio) Morales of Garland, Elsa Griselda (Juan) Contreras of Garland, Javier Zuniga of Laredo and Patrick Daniel (Angie) Zuniga of Mesquite, TX, 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Zuniga will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to John Newman Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
