Obituary For Manuel Serna, Jr.
Manuel Serna, Jr., age 67, of Laredo, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. Born on October 9, 1958, Manuel was known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. A devoted father and a true friend, he had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him through his lighthearted jokes and his signature sarcastic sense of humor.
Manuel was a passionate lover of rock and roll music and an avid fan of the Houston Texans, often engaging in lively discussions about his favorite team with equal parts enthusiasm and wit. His love for life and ability to make others smile will be dearly missed.
Manuel is survived by his beloved children, Priscilla Serna (Joe Soliz), Christopher Serna, Manuel (Cecilia) Serna III, Jesse (Joyce) Serna; who will cherish the countless memories they created together. He is also
survived by his parents, Laura Rull and Manuel Serna Sr.; siblings, Martin Serna (†), Juan “Johnny” Serna, and Susie Serna; grandchildren, Johnathan Serna, Amber Serna, Nataly Soliz, Dominic Serna, Emiliano
Serna, Jesslyn Serna, Janelle Serna, Janie Serna, and Jesse Serna Jr., numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
