Margarita “Cuca” Segura, 96, entered into eternal rest, Friday, June 10, 2022.

Mrs. Segura was a childcare provider for over 15 years.

Mrs. Segura is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Segura, Sr; children, Gloria Castillo, Santos Segura, Jr. Jaime Segura and Gracie Segura; parents, Maria M. Garza and Jaime Garcia, Sr. and siblings, Sylvia Trapani, Charlotte Garcia Devor and Fernando Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Carlos) Garcia, Maria Cristina Segura, Edna (Mark) McMurtry, Margarita (Silvestre) Hernandez, Jr., Jesus (Betzaida) Segura, Javier (Sandra) Segura, Jose (Belia) Segura, Antonio (Delia) Segura, Gerardo Segura and Tomas (Diana) Segura; 39 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great grandchildren; brother, Jamie Garcia as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 13, 2022, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery.
