Margil Lopez, 69, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 12, 2016. Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his; parents, Manuel Lopez and Barbarita Garza Lopez; siblings, Hildibrando Lopez, Maricela Lopez and Roberto Lopez.

He is survived by his wife Blanca Alicia Gonzalez de Lopez; children, Manuel (Rosalinda) Lopez, Margil Eduardo (Elsa) Lopez and Marisol (Enrique) Treviño; grandchildren, Mauricio Lopez, Fernanda Lopez, Sophia Lopez, Margil Eduardo Lopez, Jr., Emiliano Treviño and Mildred Treviño; siblings, Natividad Aguilar, Hilda Lopez de Benavides, Manuel Gilberto (Leticia) Lopez, Astolfo (Yolanda) Lopez, Teresa Lopez, Eduardo Lopez and Sergio Lopez; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 from the funeral home to San Agustin Cathedral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery.
