Nacida el 8 de Octubre de 1930, madre querida y abuelita adorada Maria del Carmen Leal (“Welita”), siempre estuvo en guardia de su familia. Welita began her eternal life on October 21, 2009. She was 79. Her earthly life was truly a blessing from God, and she spent it selflessly giving guidance and support to her loved ones. She possessed many wonderful gifts, but Welita will be most remembered for sharing her unconditional love and unfaltering strength with us all. Her memory will be carried on by her sister, Teresa Ayala; children: Jose de Jesus (Linda) Leal Carmen L. Chavez, Sylvia G. Leal, Jose Luis Leal, Diana L. Leal (Daniel Perez) and Alfredo Leal; Grandchildren: Carmen “Cissy” Chavez, Marivel (Rene) Rodriguez, Linda Cristina (Ronnie Obregon) Leal, Alonzo “Andy” Chavez, Monica L. Luna, Christian D. Valenciano, Gabriela R. Leal; Great-grandchildren: Analisa Leal Obregon, Rene R. and Mia R. Rodriguez; Nieces and nephews. Her family will always hold her words—“Cuidense mucho y sigan adelante”—deep within their hearts. Receiving her into the kingdom of heaven are her husband: Jose de Jesus Leal; parents: Jose and Petra Esparza; siblings: Lupita Galindo and Jesus Esparza; in-laws: Amelia Lugo and Manuela Garza. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am.
