Maria “Chita” S. Vega, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Mrs. Vega is survived by her husband of 56 years of marriage, Lolo Vega, children: Gloria (Kennth) Moisant of Lincoln, ILL, Diana (+Ruben) Guerrero of Laredo, Margarita (Sergio) Amezcua of Chicago, Angelica Vega of Houston and Albert Vega of Laredo, grandchildren: Daniel (Graciela) Garcia of Laredo, Elpidio (Diana) Amezcua of Laredo, Monica Garcia of Houston, Arturo (Maria) Amezcua, Laura (Dave) Duron and Michael Amezcua of Chicago, great-grandchildren: Andrew Amezcua , Ariel Vega of Laredo and Xochitl Duron of Chicago. Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
