Maria Cristina Guerrero, 85, entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 11, 2017. Mrs. Guerrero is preceded in death by her; huband, Lorenzo Guerrero, Sr.; son, Lorenzo Guerrero, Jr.; daughters, Maria Elena Guzman, Maria Minerva Villarreal and son, Mario A. Guerrero. She is survived by her; children, Toni (Rudy) Ortiz, Matilde Johnson, Inez (Alejandro) Medina, Margarita (Julio) Barbosa, Martha (Joe) Alcantar, Carmen (Jaime) Madrigal, Isabel (Ricky) Roach, Cristina (Daniel) Arevalo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Janie Guerrero; son in law, Roberto Guzman; son in law, Sergio Villarreal; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her. Family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice nurse Liza Diaz.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 from the funeral home to Saint Jude Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jesse Ortiz, Julio Barbosa, Jr., Ernesto Barbosa, Rolando Guerrero, Jonathan Arevalo, and Alex Medina, Jr.
