MARIA DE LA LUZ HERNANDEZ Maria De La Luz Hernandez, 87, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband; Jesus Rivera, sister and brother-in-law; Cruzita (Guadalupe) De La Garza, brother and sister-in-law; Jesus (Guadalupe) Hernandez. She is survived by her children; San Juana Barrera, Jesus (Maria) Rivera, Victoria (Oscar) Vasquez and Dora Alicia (Hilario) Garcia, 25 grandchildren and 45 great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Holy Family Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Javier Martinez, Victor Rivera, Jesus Rivera, Hilario Garcia, James Estrada, Carlos Barrera, Mario Barrera and Gerardo Barrera.
