Maria de la Luz R. Ramon, 79, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014. Mrs. Ramon was preceded in death by her; husband, Ambrocio Ramon, Jr.; and brothers, Heriberto Rodriguez, Calixto Rodriguez, Jose Angel Rodriguez and Santiago Rodriguez. Left to cherish her memory are her; children, Ana Maria (Fernando) Bustamante, Aida Martha (Kenneth) Coleman, Ambrocio (Delia Norma) Ramon, III, Alberto (Tammy) Ramon of Minnesota, Maria de la Luz (Nelson) Valmores of Killeen, Tx, Nolan Thomas (Lilia) Ramon, Elroy (Judy) Ramon and Leroy (Sally) Ramon; sister, Maria Guadalupe (Jesse)Alcazar of Galveston; brothers, Jose Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 7, 2014, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ambrocio Ramon III, Alberto Ramon, Nolan Thomas Ramon, Leroy Ramon, Elroy Ramon, Fernando Bustamante, Nelson Valmores and Joshua Ramon.
