Maria Del Carmen San Miguel, 97, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 13, 2018. Mrs. San Miguel is preceded in death by her; parents, Jesus and Sara Solis; husband, Juan San Miguel and sister, Isabel (Juan) Salinas. She is survived by her; children, Juan Antonio (Mariana) Salinas, Jose Luis (Kim) Salinas and Jesus Javier Salinas; brothers, Jesus (Carmen) Solis and Roberto (Oralia) Solis; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends. The family will like to thank Dr. Oscar Gutierrez, nurse Grace, Santa Rita Home Health and her caretaker Lupita Contreras, for their compassion and devoted attention.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 from the funeral home to Saint Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Juan Antonio Salinas, Jr., Jose Luis Salinas, II, Michael Salinas, Arturo Salinas, Ulysses Salinas, Rolando Salinas, Juan E. Salinas and Teresa Salinas.
