Maria Del Pilar Tristan, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Mrs. Tristan was preceded in death by her husband; Leocadio Tristan, children; Julia T. Vidaurri, Jose Tristan and Susana Benites. She is survived by her children; Macario (Maria) Tristan of California, Procoro (Olga) Tristan of Floresville and Emma (Manuel) Benitez of Floresville, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Holy Family Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 9 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Jose Tristan, Moises Benitez, Dario Gonzalez, Juan Javier Vidaurri, Jorge Vidaurri, Gerardo Vidaurri, Arturo Benitez and Roberto Gonzalez.
