Maria E. Gomez, 57, entered peacefully into eternal rest on, Monday, April 21, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her father, Pablo Gomez; sisters, Martha Perez, and Aida Aracely Gomez; brother, Rodolfo Gomez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Raul Sergio Villarreal; children, Brenda Villarreal (Victor Dominguez), Raul Sergio Villarreal Jr. (Carlota Villarreal), Cheyenne D. Smith, Perla Ruby Villarreal; mother, Maria Del Refugio Gonzalez; grandchildren, Victor Dominguez, Vicente Dominguez, Kaylin, Kaycee, Raul Villarreal III, Xaylee, Liam, Mateo, Romeo Smith; fur baby Coco; siblings, Angel Gomez, Juan Gomez, Elizar Gomez, Tomas Gomez, Pablo Gomez, and Ana Bertha Gomez; as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funerals & Cremations 3502 US Hwy 83; where a Rosary for the Deceased will begin at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

La familia recibirá condolences el viernes 25 de abril del 2025, de 5:00 pm a 9:00 pm, en la funeraria Nieto, ubicada en 3502 US Hwy 83; donde se rezará el Rosario por el Difunto a las 7:00 pm.

El servicio fúnebre se celebrará el sabado 26 de abril de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora del Rosario con misa a las 9:00 am.

Se realizará el rito de sepelio y entierro en el cemeterio de la ciudad.
