Maria Elena Elizondo, 62, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. Mrs. Elizondo was preceded in death by her granddaughter Mariana Elizondo and parents, Leopoldo (Julia) Elizondo. She is survived by her only son, Mario (Ana Laura) Elizondo; her only grandson, Adrian Elizondo; sister, Catalina (Otoniel) Elizondo De Cruz; brother, Juan Antonio (Graciela) Elizondo; nieces and nephews, Violeta Elizondo, Juan Antonio Elizondo, Jr., Roberto (Lola) Cruz, Mayra (Guillermo) Cruz, Maria Magdalena “Chiquis” (Onesimo) Cruz, Gerardo “Lali” Cruz, Otoniel (Nena) Cruz, Jr., Marco Antonio Cruz and Berta (Luis) Cruz. Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery.
