Maria Elena Flores, 76, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, March 18, 2024.

Mrs. Flores is preceded in death by her parents, Jose R. Peña and Francisca Morado; siblings, Rodolfo Peña, Irene Iruegas, Elvira Meza and Albina Meza; son-in-law, Robert Alexander Ramirez.

She is survived by her husband, Alberto Flores, Jr.; children, Maria Elena (Manuel) Delgadillo, Jose (Margie) Flores, Norma Flores, Maricela (Rigoberto) Capetillo, Alberto Flores, III, Carolina (Chris) Selvera, Minerva (+Robert) Ramirez, Sylvia Flores and Susanna Flores, 38 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, as well as other family and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funerals and Cremations, 3502 US Hwy 83, Laredo, TX 78046. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Funeral mass will start at 9:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
