Maria Esther Sanchez, 78, entered peacefully into eternal rest surrounded by her beloved family on April 10, 2025.

She will be reunited with her loving Mother and Father Jose & Maria Luisa Casarez whom she greatly missed. Twin brothers Juan Manuel and Jose Luis Casarez. Sisters Rosa Maria Vasquez and Juanita Valle and beautiful Niece Martha Luisa Casarez Maldonado.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved Husband of 62 years of marriage, Raul Sanchez “Honey Bunny”. Her children Raul Sanchez Jr. (Maria J. Avalos), Berta I. Sanchez Reyes (Norberto Reyes), Fernando (Veronica) Sanchez, Carol Sanchez Lemos (Robert Lemos), Alejandro (Yanira San Juanita) Sanchez, Esther Elaine Sanchez Briones (Ancelmo Briones), and Refugio Sanchez. 18 grandchildren; Stephanie, Jennifer “Jenny”, Raul “Vince”, Crystal, Cassandra “Cassie”, Emily, Fernando Jr., Kimberly, Steven, Albert, Veronica “Liz”, Noe, Alex Paul, Alex “AJ”, Adalberto “AB”, Yaneli, Ancelmo Jr. “Chemito”, Amanda and 14 great-grandchildren. Her brothers Norberto (Marta) Casarez and Jose (Linda) Casarez Jr., as well as numerous relatives who will truly miss her.

Maria Esther was the heart of our family. She always gave her unconditional love and support to everyone around her. She was a wonderful strong woman who never gave up, her Faith was always bigger than her fears. She will be remembered as the life of the party who loved to dance. The delicious meals she enjoyed cooking for her family will be greatly missed.

Maria Esther was a very hard worker for many years starting at Retama West, Ligarde Elemenatry, Sears, Floyd Headstart kitchen, and Sierra Vista Headstart kitchen until retirement. Throughout her life she created many beautiful memories that our hearts will hold forever.

“It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home”.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funerals & Cremations 3502 US Hwy 83; where a Rosary for the Deceased will begin at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2025 departing at 9:30 am from Nieto Funerals & Cremations to Santo Niño Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Fernando Sanchez, Alejandro Sanchez, Ancelmo “Chemito” Briones Jr., Noe Sanchez, Norberto Casarez, Raul Vicente Sanchez, Albert Sanchez, Alex Paul Lemos, Adalberto “AB” Sanchez, Alex “AJ” Sanchez, and Fernando “Tito” Sanchez Jr.
