Obituary For Maria Guadalupe Lopez
The Lord Our Shepard called his beloved daughter María Guadalupe M. López to him on Thursday, January 10, 2008. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister and a caring friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Salvador Melchor and her three sons (Meliton, Adan and Valentin and daughter Alicia). She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Natividad López, Sr. her two sisters Petra Obregon (Tomas), and Francisca Torres (Abraham) of Ohio. Also, her children Guadalupe L. Parrish, Natividad Jr., (Ellen), James Richard, Rosita Jimenez (Jose Angel), Pedro, Juan Salvador, Lorenzo (Glenda), Carlos (Laura), Benita L. Provencio (Armando), Adelita L. Ortiz (Luis), Eva, Gerardo and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2008 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
