Maria Isabel Cordero, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Ms. Cordero worked over 30 years as a teacher aide for La Ladrillera Daycare and Little Red Headstart. She was preceded in death by parents; Concepcion (Cruzita) Robles, nephew; Ruben Ramiro Garcia, sister; Esthela Garcia and brother-in-law; Ruben Garcia Gonzalez. She is survived by son; Noe Ruben Cordero, daughter-in-law; Maria Elizabeth Cordero, grandchildren; Jesus and Angelica Carmona, Graviel and Rocio Hinojosa, Ruben, Eliza, Juan and Nancy Cordero, great-grandchildren; Jesus and Alexis Carmona, Priscilla and Graviel Hinojosa, Jr., Yessenia, Ramiro, Rubencito, Yulissa, Juan C. Jr., and Jorge A. Cordero, nephew; Jorge Robles, cousin; Ofelia Fox and niece; Flor Sauceda and family. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 5 pm. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
